Ada M. Jackson, 78, of Gloucester, died on Oct. 17, 2024.

She was a native of Gloucester County and a member of First Morning Star Baptist Church, Bena.

Survivors include her daughters, Maxine Sparks, Sheree A. Johnson, Darah C. Jones, Terri L. Cooke, Crystal H. Jackson; sons, Ricky L. Jackson, Tony Q. Jackson, and Derrick L. Jackson; 18 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John William and Francis Helen Carey Phillips; husband, Christopher L. Jackson; son, Paul T. Coles, and one grandchild.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 25, in First Morning Star Baptist Church. Jackson will be placed in church at 10 a.m. for viewing. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
