Former staff members of Achilles Elementary School gathered for lunch on April 15 at Nick’s Spaghetti & Steak House to reminisce and share memories. The group included teachers, teacher assistants, school secretaries, cafeteria staff, and school administrators. Ed Morris shared some of his experiences as principal in the older school building in 1963-64. The next gathering is planned for Oct. 24 and is open to all retired members of the staff from Achilles Elementary.
