Although Horn’s Gloucester Ace Hardware opened its doors to the public last fall, the store held off on its official grand opening until this past weekend, kicking off the celebration on Friday afternoon with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Those taking part included, from left, Main Street Preservation Trust executive director Diana West, Gloucester Main Street Association board member Ivy Stroud, store manager Jessica Poulos, general manager Elvin Bruce, marketing manager Cammie Smith, owners Grayland and Krystal Horn, GMSA executive director Jennifer Haggerty and GMSA board member Pam Callis-Lett. The weekend celebration included giveaways, a hot dog cookout on Saturday and free coffee and donuts on Sunday.
