Abingdon Ruritan Club Director Doug Johnson, photo above, stands vigil over the Ruritan National flag that he marched in to the tune of “He’s a Ruritan” to kick off the club’s Feb. 10 membership meeting at the club building in Bena. It was a special meeting to recognize the “behind the scene” spouses of Ruritan members with a red Valentine’s Day theme as the club honored their dedication and commitment.
