Aaron Paul West, age 30, of Gloucester, died at Riverside Regional Medical Center, Newport News, on Tuesday, July 25, 2023. Aaron graduated from Gloucester High School and was employed at the Newport News Shipbuilding, Rigging Department. Tonya Maria Hunt, his mother, and paternal grandparents, Ellis L. West Sr., and Sandra Sue “Penny” West, preceded him in death. He is survived by his father, Ellis (Lee) West Jr. (Serena Hedge); sister, Kelsey Young Castillo; brother, Justin Young; nephew, Joshua; niece, Kaeley, and maternal grandparents, Rebecca Tackett (Mark). The family received friends on Monday, July 31, 2023, from 4:30-6 p.m. at Hogg Funeral Home. A graveside service was held at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, in Rosewell Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
