Three cars were involved in an automobile collision on the State highway at Ark Sunday night when a Chevrolet coach driven by Joe Diggs ran into Sinclair Rhodes’s Ford coach parked on the side of the road, pushing Rhodes’s car back into a Durant, also parked at roadside, owned by Marion Chapman. Diggs’s car was turned over, and a brother, who was riding with him, sustained a bad cut on the head, which required two stitches at the hands of Dr. H.A. Tabb. Both Diggs’s and Rhodes’s cars were badly damaged.

A ban on roadside hunting in Gloucester went into effect at 12:01 a.m. Tuesday following a public hearing Monday night which drew about 140 persons.
Following comments by many of those in attendance, a show of hands indicated the crowd was about evenly divided on the issue. A quick count revealed 50 persons were in favor of the ordinance and 46 opposed. Adoption by ...
