The Arthur family of Gloucester was surprised on the evening of Friday, Dec. 9 by Toys for Tots, Gloucester Volunteer Fire and Rescue, Santa Claus, members of Middle Peninsula Detachment 1317 Marine Corps League, Gloucester Sheriff’s Office deputies and active duty Marines who presented the children with toys from their Christmas wish list. The children’s father is a Navy corpsman and was stationed with the Marines at the Naval Weapons Station at one time. Twelve-year-old Peyton is going through treatment for pediatric leukemia.
