A pleasant quilting party was held at Diggs—in 1909

Diggs: Mrs. Dollie Owens gave a quilting party at her home last Thursday; everyone present seemed to enjoy the day very much. After the busy fingers had put the last stitch in the lovely quilt we were called to the dining room where a good supper awaited us. The merry party was then entertained for an hour with music and singing by Mrs. Janie Diggs; they returned to their homes thanking Mrs. Owens for such an enjoyable day.
