The regular monthly meeting of the Board of Supervisors was held last Friday. Messrs. J.R. Hinkle and C.S. Smith Jr. were appointed a committee to investigate the condition of the county poor house and its inmates. The salary of J.R. Hinkle, Superintendent of Roads, was increased $25 per month from Feb. 1, 1919 making his present salary $75 per month. It is ordered that the five-passenger Ford car now owned ...
