Gwynn’s Island: A very pretty wedding was solemnized at the Baptist Church on Thursday night May 20 when Miss Addie Diggs became the bride of Mr. Vernon Rowe, Rev. L. H. Suddith officiating. The wedding march was played by Miss Ruth Muse. The bride’s attendants were Delia Diggs, Johnny Sparrow, Lora Owens, Edward Hurst, Bernice Callis, John Godsey, Pearl Blake, Billie Carney, Goldie Callis and Thomas Mitchem.
