A full slate of local, state candidates on November ballot

This year’s ballot will be one filled with local elections in Gloucester and Mathews. The final ballots have been set in the two counties and throughout Virginia.
The ballot will also include candidates vying for the General Assembly. Locally, voters will choose the 26th Senate of Virginia and 68th and 69th House of Delegates races. Everyone in the two counties is a part of the 26th Senate District, with most also in the 68th House district (a small portion of southern Gloucester is in the 69th District).
In the Senate District race, incumbent Republican Ryan McDougle is opposed by Democrat Pam Garner. In the 68th District HOD race, Republican incumbent Keith Hodges is running unopposed, while Republican W. Chad Green is running unopposed in the 69th District.
