Above, spectators sat in lawn chairs, on blankets and on the grass at Mathews High School to watch the breathtaking July 4 fireworks display. Crowds filled the football field, the high school parking lots, and lined the road all the way from the Bank of America building to First Baptist Church and beyond to catch a glimpse of the show.
