7 LAYER CHOCOLATE CAKE

9 large eggs
3 sticks butter, salted
2 c. granulated sugar
3 c. self-rising flour, sifted
¾ c. evaporated milk
1 Tbs. pure vanilla
Cream butter, vanilla, sugar and flour. Then add eggs and evaporated milk. Beat on high for about 3 minutes. Pour 5 Tbs. batter into each greased and floured pan and bake at 350°F. for approximately 10 to 12 minutes or until edges start to brown. Cool on wire rack.
Frosting
¾ c. cocoa
2 boxes 10X sugar, sifted
1 stick butter, melted
1 can evaporated milk
Empty 10X sugar into a large bowl. Add melted butter to sugar and stir. Add cocoa. Add about ½ can of the milk; if too stiff keep adding a little at a time until the frosting is spreadable. Spread frosting on layer. Do not skimp. Add each layer and continue with the frosting and then cover the cake with rest of frosting.
