The Misses Miller of “Oakland” at North gave a delightful party to their friends on Monday evening, April 1, 1907. Miss Alice Miller wore her grandmother’s wedding dress, white brocade silk and pearls. Dancing was kept until a late hour, when all parted, declaring they had spent one of the most enjoyable evenings of their lives.There was a large and select assemblage present.
