Mallory Owens of Gloucester, a member of the food service team at Sanders Nursing Home, was recently recognized as a Riverside Champion of Caring. Owens has been with the food service team for almost a year. “She has gone above and beyond for many residents, including giving a Heron Cove 2 resident a purple bear that the resident immediately fell in love with,” according to information from Riverside. “The family was so happy that they made sure to share their gratitude with everyone who would listen.” Owens is going to college, studying to be an ultrasound nurse.
