On Wednesday, April 3, at the home of Mrs. Letcher Hudgins, a bonnet party will be given for the benefit of St. Paul’s S.S. A prize will be given to the one who trims the prettiest bonnet. A large attendance of both young and old is expected. Refreshments will be served for the same purpose. Should Wednesday night be a bad night the party will be the following night.

Naxera Graded School reports that “Columbus made four voyages and died on the third one, and that was the end of Columbus.” These words were the ending of a composition on Columbus written by one of our Sixth-Grade boys. Boylike he was slightly mixed on his historical facts, and was entirely forgetful of the eternity before Columbus.
