Gloucester High School had six athletes compete at the Class 5 Indoor Track and Field State Championships last weekend at the Virginia Beach Sports Center.
Hannah Broadwell was Gloucester’s lone competitor in the girls’ 1,600-meter run. She took 11th place with a time of 6:03.98.
In the girls’ 3,200-meter, Mya Baker took seventh place with a time of 11:40.66. Mackenzie Alcorn and Chloe Sylvester finished 13th and 14th, respectively, with times of 13:42.42 and 13:55.86.
Jaida Peet finished in 11th place in the girls’ shot put, throwing a distance of 28 feet, 6.5 inches.
Rylan Allcorn finished in 10th place in the boys’ 1,600-meter run with a time of 4:31.04.
