On August 9, 2020, Pat and Joan Dorgan joyously celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. The happy couple began their journey of life together in Holy Matrimony on August 9, 1970 in Baltimore, Maryland. After several years of living in Europe and Boston, the young couple settled in Gloucester County (“the land of the life worth living”) in 1977 to raise their family and embark upon their careers.
After decades of public service as a clinical psychologist and a registered nurse, Pat and Joan retired to spend more quality time with their family on the banks of the Piankatank River. The happy couple is blessed by three children and eight grandchildren: a son, Patrick and his wife, Meghan, and their children, Grace and Harrison; and two daughters, Katie and her husband Jim, and their children, Addy, James and Colson, and Colleen and her husband Nate, and their children, Connor, James and Ryan.
