The Gloucester County Chamber of Commerce has had a busy 2011 and is preparing for an active 2012, president Jay Hutchins said in a recent membership packet.
Among some of the chamber’s many activities during the year now ending, were a board of directors’ retreat, its annual dinner, health care and candidates forums, an online security seminar, and sponsorship of the second annual Gloucester Wine Festival.
Makalia Records, the chamber’s executive director, said she worked hard this year in membership recruitment, with 45 new members signing up. Another membership-oriented feature, she said, was publication of a new website by Franktronics with advertising opportunities for the chamber’s membership.
