4 GHS athletes make college commitments

Gloucester High School seniors Arrybella Siddons, Emily Waddles, Channy Johnson, Jaylen Holmes and Camden Richardson took the GHS auditorium stage last Wednesday morning to sign their commitments to compete in their respective sports at the collegiate level.
Siddons will be continuing her competition cheerleading career at Christopher Newport University, where she will also major in biology. Siddons spent the last four years on the GHS fall and winter competition cheer teams and was a captain for the team this past season. She made the All-Region Team and 1st Team All-State.
Waddles will also take her cheering to the next level at Averett University while also majoring in nursing. Waddles was a JV cheerleader for two years and spent the last three on the varsity fall and winter competition team of which she was a captain. She made the All-Region Team, and 2nd Team All-State.
