22 graduate from GHS in mid-year commencement

Twenty-two Gloucester High School students received their diplomas on Monday night, as the school held its mid-year commencement ceremony in the school’s auditorium.
“Graduating from high school is one of those big milestones in your life and you are going to remember it forever and where you go from here, there is really no limit,” GHS principal Dr. Stefan Mygas told the graduating seniors. “You can do anything that you want.”
Mygas recognized the students for their hard work as well as their accomplishments during his welcoming remarks. He also talked to the students about being good citizens.
“It is just as important or even more important to be a good family member, a good friend, to take care of the people around you and care about the people in your community,” he said. He reminded the graduates to “remember who you are” and to “stay true to yourself.”
Division superintendent Dr. Anthony Vladu also gave a few remarks to the students about being willing to continue to learn.
