The winners of the 2024 Gloucester Daffodil Show, held April 6 and 7 at Newington Baptist Church during the Gloucester Daffodil Festival, were recently announced.
This year’s show included 84 exhibitors, 1,224 entries, and 2,098 stems in Horticulture, along with 20 photographers with 100 photo entries, said a press release. Exhibitors, judges and daffodil enthusiasts from all over the East Coast attended, and a classification judge was from England.
The theme for both the festival and the show was “Everything’s Coming Up Daffodils,” said the release, and the Artistic and Photography divisions entries were inspired by classic Broadway shows.
Sponsored by Gloucester Parks, Recreation and Tourism, the annual show is sanctioned by the American Daffodil Society.
