Though the final count has yet to be determined, at least 20,000 spectators visited Gloucester Court House last weekend for the 39th annual Daffodil Festival, “It’s All Sunshine & Daffodils.”
The weather was warm, but cloudy with a high pollen count that covered everything in a powdery yellow. However, this did not inhibit people from enjoying the over 200 retail vendors, information booths and food vendors in attendance both days.
The 2025 Gloucester Daffodil Festival was a great success, according to Tourism and Marketing Supervisor Susan Ammons of Gloucester Parks, Recreation & Tourism.
“The 39th annual Daffodil Festival was an incredible success this past weekend,” said Ammons. “And it wouldn’t have been possible without our amazing staff, dedicated volunteers, supportive county partners, talented vendors and entertainers and, most importantly, the thousands of attendees who came to celebrate with us.”
