Julie Stone and Sharon Stone have been elected to the board of directors of Arts on Main, Gloucester, according to board chair Lynne Bohon Manning. She said that the new members “bring talent, drive, organizational skills and a passion for art” to the local arts center. Julie Stone had a long career in hospital administration as a performance improvement and patient safety specialist, Manning said. She is the upcoming president of the Garden Club of Gloucester and a past chair of Historic Garden Week. Sharon Stone was the gallery manager at Stewart Gallery where she organized art exhibits and arranged juried art shows. She has also served on the executive committee of the Gloucester Arts Festival as artist liaison, and on the board of directors for Literacy Volunteers of Gloucester. “Arts On Main is fortunate.
