2 local residents appointed to state boards

Two Gloucester County residents were among those appointed to various state boards and administration positions, Gov. Glenn Youngkin announced Friday.
Christopher Sopko of Gloucester, operations manager for Sea Farms, Inc., was appointed to the Virginia Marine Products Board, and Laura Bailey of Hayes, retired special assistant for board relations for the Commonwealth of Virginia, was appointed to the board of trustees of the Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation.
