Gloucester High School seniors Devonte Garcia and Adam Hogge participated in the Virginia Music Educators Association’s 2020-2021 Virginia Honors Choir.
The honors choir is an auditioned ensemble that is comprised of high school seniors from all around Virginia. The students auditioned by submitting a video application in November and attended three Saturday virtual rehearsals with conductor Dr. Christopher Aspaas, from Texas Christian University.
Following rehearsals, the students and Aspaas created a virtual choir performance that can be viewed on YouTube under the title “2020-2021 VMEA Senior Honors Choir.”
