The Bay School Community Arts Center is accepting online submissions for its 12th annual Art Speaks Juried Exhibition, to be held April 26-May 26, 2025 at the gallery at 279 Main Street, Mathews.
The show will feature a $1,500 prize for Best in Show, said a press release, with a total of $6,350 being awarded for all prizes, including first, second, and third place prizes in 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional art, Student’s Choice awards in 2D and 3D, a Partner Gallery Award, and Awards of Merit.
Any artist who lives in Virginia or has a working studio in Virginia and who is at least 18 years of age is eligible to participate, said the release.
The show will accept original works only that have been completed since Jan. 1, 2022 and have not been shown or are not markedly similar to work shown in a previous Art Speaks Juried Exhibition, said the release. All works will be juried in digital format.
