MHS picks up two wins in softball; improves to 11-3
The JV Devils’ baseball team picked up another victory over King William Friday afternoon, beating the Cavaliers, 9-6.  Nick Stump pitched a great game allowing only six hits and two walks, while striking out one.
At the plate, Stump went 1-3 with a single. He was helped out by Chris Davis who was hit by a pitch twice scoring both times, Tim Moore (3-for-4 with three doubles and three RBIs), Brandon Faulkner (2-for-3), Michael Cunningham (1-for-1, RBI), C.J. Kelley (1-for-3) and Daniel Mitchem (1-for-3).
The jayvee boys will play at West Point today and Middlesex at home on Tuesday at 5.
