Fischgrund, Kellam, Jimmy Overstreet and Nick Von Engle contributed singles while Travis Fullerton scored a run and made an outstanding catch in right field.
Gloucester scored in the second inning against Menchville when Lutz drove in Court Womble with a single. Two more runs were added in the fifth when Overstreet singled in Fischgrund and Kellam but the Monarchs scored three times in the bottom of the inning to tie it.
